READ: ACTS 20
Grace is a beautiful thing when we experience blessing and undeserved favor in life, right? It’s a bit harder to imagine our grace covering when life gets challenging or messy. But as believers, it’s still there!
Grace says “I will give you what you do not deserve; salvation, protection, favor.” We don’t often hear that those good things can sometimes lay under the surface in spaces we can’t always see or feel, however, our faith assures us it’s there!
The apostle Paul’s life fascinates me. He didn’t have an easy go at life and yet he was a trailblazer in the spreading of the gospel. Being imprisoned at least three times, beat repeatedly, and constantly up against opposition for his faith, he never skipped a beat.
One definition of grace says “a divinely given gift or blessing.” Our divinely given blessing is the Holy Spirit. Paul understood it was the grace of the Holy Spirit that enabled him to complete the call on his life. It was the Holy Spirit that testified to the hardship that was up ahead but also generously gave him the strength to endure whatever he faced.
The Holy Spirit is the grace gift that eases our burdens and helps us through ALL life.
The Holy Spirit helps us in our own lives and in the ministering of the gospel to others. Lean into the Holy Spirit helper today. Seek strength, comfort, and covering under the faithful gift of the Holy Spirit. Allowing Him to sweetly whisper messages of help and hope for your day today.
