Do you believe God is all-powerful and good all the time? Or do you believe God when it's easy and working for you? A harsh question, I know. It's one I had to ask myself recently and one I wasn't proud of the truth I found nestled under the surface.
It can sometimes feel really hard to shake the opposition we face for our faith. In the difficult times, we can rub up against false doctrine or be tempted to believe what the world has to offer instead of taking comfort in God's truth.
What if God's chosen instrument is that person in your life you feel least likely to turn and follow God? How differently would you pray for them if you knew God had chosen them for a big role in building his Kingdom?
